Sai Wan Trip #7

Finally, we reached the bottom of the waterfall.  This waterfall looked very weak as only little water passed through it.  However, the vertical difference was quite great, about 50 metres high.  Before we attempted to climb on the waterfall, let's cheer and take a photo!  Let's hear what Wilson and Simon said about the waterfall (DOWNLOAD).

This was the only picture which included all of us.  I used self-timer to record this picture.  However, the effect was not as good as we thought.  Anyway, each of us was holding a mandarin, symbolizing the spirit of "Ah Kam".  It gave us energy to continue our hard journey.

The last target of our journey was called, "Ah Kam Action" (ªüª÷¦æ°Ê).

Afterwards, we ate the mandarins.  The only thing left was the mandarin peel!

<-- Then, we took our courage and "crawled" to the top of the waterfall.  Don't be misled by our smiling faces.  Actually, we were pretending...

<-- This was the view we looked back from the waterfall.  An interlocking spur could be seen very clearly.

We successfully finished this hiking route!  Congratulations!  Our next target would be the highest peak in Sai Kung, Nam She Tsim.  We planned to hike after the examination in January 2001.  If you would like to join, please tell.

Epilogue

We returned to Sai Wan Pavilion at 4:30 p.m.  We followed the queue and waited for a van.  The van was very full and so we decided to wait for another one.  When another van came, some people who were not in the queue rushed towards the van and got on.  A lot of people were unhappy about that, including Jeff Choy.  Let's see how he described the incident after getting on the van.
