Sai Wan Trip #1
Route: Sai Wan Pavilion --> Chui Tung Au --> Sai Wan Village (¦èÆW«F --> §jµ©¥W --> ¦èÆW§ø)
We took about 1.5 hours to come to Sai Wan Pavilion. The footpath was easy to walk. What we could see was just trees, valleys and spurs. The mountain was covered with a thin layer of mist, which was probably caused by radiation. We brought some fruits like bananas and mandarins (see Jeff's hands).
Reaching Chui Tung Au, we saw a voluntary group doing a survey. It was about the development of Sai Wan as a tourist resort. Of course, I opposed to this suggestion as Sai Wan is still one of the unspoiled places in Hong Kong. Such rural development means the destruction of the natural environment. After helping them finish the questionnaire, we started to "roll" down the slope to Sai Wan Village. The footpath was so steep that we couldn't stop! We could finish dashing the footpath within 5 minutes. Below is the picture taken at Chui Tung Au. This is part of Sai Wan.
Such breath-taking views have refreshed our minds.
