A day-out on Peng Chau #1
It is really not a fine day for outing. Amber rainstorm warning was hoisted in the morning of 15th July. Before the trip, I bought 15 tickets at the welfare office of Professional Teaching Association. It cost $1200. The trip was held as usual even though we could see heavy downpours. I received a lot of phone calls that morning as some 5Dees thought that the trip was going to cancel. Surely not!!!
Something bad to mention here. On the way to Hung Hom KCR Station, we discovered that we had forgotten to bring the receipt for the tickets bought. That's so important that we might not be able to redeem the tickets. Therefore, I left the bus promptly when I was in North Point, and then took a taxi which cost me $30. Afterwards, I took the receipt within 4 minutes and rushed to take a taxi again. This time, the taxi rushed from Sai Wan Ho to Shatin. The journey was long and guess how much the taxi fare cost? It spent me $175! That's the most expensive trip I have ever had in my life! Certainly, the driver was incredibly happy about that. Anyway, we could get to the ferry pier on time and started our voyage to Peng Chau.
Half of our class joined this outing. Actually, they were challenging themselves as the weather was bad that day. Luckily, nothing special happened on the boat except for one or twice big swings because of strong waves. Some of the 5Dees chatted inside the deck but some came out and exposed themselves to strong prevailing winds.
King was so sleepy as he played overnight the night before the trip. He looked very exhausted and didn't even have energy to move. He kept sleeping on the arms of Charlie.
Richard was talking to Miss Szeto about his special experience in the hospital. Simon and Jessica sat together closely and whispered to each other.
Kik and Paul just fooled around to make jokes. Silly fools!!! |

Jeff Choy and Ah Kam was the funniest pair throughout the trip. Look at their pose. I don't know what to say... Enjoy this picture!!
While Peggy was paying attention to the camera, the boys were making himself even more attractive by doing such disgraceful actions.
After 1.5 hours of voyage. we reached Peng hau, an small and isolated island in Mirs Bay which is located in the most eastern part of Hong Kong.
